As part of efforts to strengthen scientific and academic cooperation among higher education institutions in Iraq, Al-Karkh University of Science and Babakrkar University signed a joint cooperation agreement aimed at enhancing academic and research activities and exchanging expertise between the two institutions.

The agreement was signed in the presence of the presidents of both universities, along with a number of academic and administrative staff members. During the ceremony, both parties emphasized the importance of this step in opening new horizons for collaboration in scientific research, academic exchange visits, and the organization of joint workshops, seminars, and conferences, as well as sharing expertise in academic and administrative fields.

The agreement also includes cooperation in joint research supervision, the exchange of scientific resources, and the implementation of training programs designed to develop the skills of academic and administrative staff, thereby contributing to the improvement of the quality of education at both universities.

This agreement is in line with the directives of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research aimed at strengthening partnerships among Iraqi universities, enhancing academic standards, and supporting the achievement of sustainable development goals in the education sector.
